WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a popular procedure that helps to rejuvenate the skin. As we age, our skin loses collagen which can lead to wrinkles, fine lines, and other of aging. Microneedling works by creating tiny punctures in the skin, which stimulates the body's natural collagen production. This can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin, reduces acne scarring, improves the appearance of fine lines and, and evens out skin tone. All the facials come with the option of the DERMALUX LED light therapy, light peel and ice globe therapy.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU HAVE MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling is a popular treatment that can help improve the appearance of your skin. For optimal, it is recommended to have microneedling every 4-6 weeks. After the treatment, you may experience some redness mild swelling, but this should subside within a few days. Over time, you will notice a reduction in fine lines, wrinkles, and imperfections, leaving you with smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

PRECARE

  • Avoid booking any Microneedling treatments during an active breakout.​

  • Avoid drinking Alcohol 48 Hours before your treatment.

  • Drink lots of water.

POSTCARE

  • Avoid make up 48 hours post treatment.

  • Avoid over exfoliating for 1 week.

  • Avoid any facial procedures for 2 weeks.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

  • Avoid wear make up for 24 hours.

  • Avoid excessive heat for 48 hours post treatment.

  • Use a gentle cleanser. These are available in clinic.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks post-treatment

  • Use a high factor sunscreen (SPF 30+)
